1. Armin Van Buuren 
(born December 25, 1976) is a Dutch trance producer and DJ. He was born in Leiden, Netherlands, but grew up in Koudekerk aan den Rijn. In 2007, 2008, and 2009 he was voted number one DJ in DJ Mag's annual Top 100 vote. Van Buuren currently hosts a weekly radio show called "A State of Trance" and claims to have over 30 million weekly listeners in more than 40 countries, which would make it the most listened to radio show in the world.
2. Tiësto
(born on January 17, 1969) is a Dutch musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an alias which is an Italian twist of his childhood nickname. In 1997 he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. In 1999 and 2000 he collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001 he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He was named "World’s No.1 DJ" 3 consecutive times by DJ Magazine from 2002 through 2004.
3. David Guetta (born 5 November 1967) French DJ. He has worked with a variety of artists including Chris Willis, Kelly Rowland, Akon, and Will.i.am. He has been nominated for five Grammy Awards. In 2008, he was placed fifth in the DJ of the World poll and was elected best house DJ by DJ magazine. In 2009, Guetta was placed third in the same poll.
4. Above & Beyond is a British trance music group formed in 2000 by Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki. The trio are popular in the trance scene for their uplifting trance productions and collaborations with several vocalists. They also host their own weekly radio show, Trance Around the World. The group's tracks are regularly played by well-known DJs, such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Judge Jules and Paul van Dyk. On 28th October 2009 DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Above & Beyond placed at #4, for the second year in a row.

Paul Van Dyk (born December 16, 1971 in Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg, German Democratic Republic) is a Grammy Award–nominated artist, and one of the world's leading electronic dance music DJs and producers. He was named "World's No.1 DJ" by DJ Magazine in both 2005 and 2006, and has remained in the "Top 10" since 1998. As of 2007, he has sold over 3 million albums worldwide. A trance producer in the early-late 1990s, Paul quickly achieved popularity with his famous remix of Love Stimulation by Humate in 1993, and his hit single, For an Angel, but in recent times he no longer likes to describe his music as trance, but rather simply as electronic dance music.
6. Deadmau5 (pronounced "Dead Mouse"; real name Joel Zimmerman) is a progressive house and electro house producer from Toronto, Canada. His extensive discography includes tracks such as "Arguru" and "Not Exactly", which have been included in compilation albums such as In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza, MixMag's Tech-Trance-Electro-Madness (mixed by Deadmau5 himself), and on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show. His debut album, Random Album Title, was released in 2008, with its follow-up compilation album of old and new songs, For Lack of a Better Name, in 2009. On October 28, 2009, DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, placing Ultra Records artist Deadmau5 at #6, a jump from #11 the previous year. As well as his own extensive solo back catalogue, Deadmau5 is recognised for his work alongside numerous other DJs and producers, such as: Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire of Pendulum, and Steve Duda under the BSOD alias.
7. Ferry Corsten also known under the alias System F, (born December 4, 1973 in Rotterdam, Netherlands) is a producer of trance music, in addition to being a DJ and remixer. He also hosts his own weekly radio show, Corsten's Countdown. He routinely plays at events all over the world with crowds in excess of tens of thousands. 8. Markus Schulz is a German trance music DJ and producer who currently resides in Miami, Florida, USA. He is best-known for his weekly radio show entitled "Global DJ Broadcast" that airs on Digitally Imported radio. He is also the founder of the EDM label Coldharbour Recordings.
9. Gareth Emery Born in Southampton, but now based in Manchester, England, Gareth Emery is a producer and DJ of trance music. He comes from a diverse musical background that includes classical piano training, jazz, and a little punk rock. Emery has emerged in the last few years as one of the world's major trance DJs. Since entering the DJ Mag Top 100 poll at no.#34 in 2006, he has climbed every year since being ranked #31 in the 2007 poll, #23 in the 2008 poll, and entering the top 10 in 2009 at #9. He is widely tipped to become one of the next global stars of trance music, with both Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten naming him as a future star in their DJ Mag Top 100 interviews in 2006/2007.
10. Sander Van Doorn is a Dutch techno/trance music DJ and producer. He is listed at DJMag's top 100 djs list, debuting at #13 in 2008, and is currently listed at #10 in the world. Sander hosts an internet radio show every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month (1:30 pm - 3:00 pm US Eastern Time) on Digitally Imported called Identity.
