Top Music Bands Performances In 2010: This year is going to be great for music lovers. Several bands have their performances scheduled for 2010. 1. Bon Jovi The American band, Bon Jovi, has begun ‘The Circle Tour’, in support of its latest album “The Circle”, on February 11, 2010. This tour is expected to travel to 30 countries. Its first leg has started in North America. The concerts in North America will continue till the end of May. It will then move to Canada in July before moving to Europe. Bon Jovi is expected to perform some of their classics, like “Always” and “Keep the Faith”, in “The Circle Tour”.
2. Creed The American band, The Creed, has started its tour “The Full Circle” this year. This band, which split in 2004, has come together for the tour. This tour is in support of their album “Full Circle”. The original members, Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall, are part of the tour. The song list includes “What’s This Life for”, “Never Die”, “With Arms Wide Open”, and “Say I”.
3. AC/DC’s Black Ice Tour, in support of album “Black Ice”, started in 2008 and will wind up this year. The band will perform in Australia, Europe, Asia, and North America. Black Ice Tour has won award for the “Major Tour of the Year”. It has also been nominated for several other awards by Billboard Touring Awards. Some of the singles at the concerts include “Black Ice”, “Back In Black”, “You Shook Me All Night Along”, and “Highway to Hell”.
4. Metallica A drummer, Lars Ulrich, formed the band, Metallica, in 1981. This band is currently on their World Magnetic Tour, which started in 2008 and will wind up this year. The concerts will be held at Europe and Russia in April. The song list includes “Jump in The Fire”, “Battery”, “Master of Puppets”, “Sad but True” and “Die Die My Darling”. This tour is in support of the band’s album “Death Magnetic”.
5. The Black Keys The Black Keys consists of a duo, guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. This band was formed in 2001. Their albums include ‘The Big Come Up”, “Thick Freakiness”, “Rubber Factory” and “Magic Potion”. Their new album “Brothers” is set to release on May 17, 2010. The Black Keys are coming up with some great concerts in the United States and Europe.
6. U2 is currently touring for 360 degree. 360 degree is a tour in support of the band’s album “No Line on the Horizon”. For this tour, the band will be visiting various stadiums and use a unique 360-degree staging and audience configuration, which has never been used in concerts till date. The 360-degree tour will come to North America in June and perform in Europe in August and September. The songs in the concerts include “Mysterious Ways”, “In a Little While”, “City of Blinding Lights”, “Vertigo”, and “Where the Streets Have No Name”. U2 Concert Postponed: It appears that u2 will have to cancel their entire 360 tour that was supposed to be taking place this summer. 7. American Idols Live The phenomenon of the American Idols reality show has translated into one of the most popular tours of the year. This year is no different as American Idols Live tickets are selling quickly once again. The tour is promoted by Live Nation and set to kick off July 1st in Detroit and runs straight through until the final stop on September 14th in Pittsburgh. The tour will complete 49 scheduled tops at most all cities and arenas throughout these next months. The top 10 finalists of the 2009- 2010 season include Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Crystal Bowersox, Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, and Tim Urban. 8. Roger Waters A recent announcement sets up one of the most desired concert events of the year! Roger Waters of "Pink Floyd" fame has announced he will go out on the road for "The Wall 2010 -2011 tour" after a very successful solo tour in 2007- 2008. The event will include 2 full sets with encores and cover "The Wall" in its entirety along with all the state-of-the-art production values. For fans of the original band, album and solo career of Waters this is an event not to be missed. This is the first time in over 30 years that Waters has performed "The Wall" tour in America. Be warned that tickets have already been selling out and ticket prices are expected to become expensive.
9. Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum For fans of country music, there is one concert tour on everyone's minds. Tim McGraw has announced his tour dates, which will be joined by Lady Antebellum. The tour will be in promotion of the country superstars latest album titled “Southern Voice", which as received some great reviews from the industry. The tour will stretch out over 6 months ending in Toronto on August 7th, 2010.
10. Family Concerts for Summer There are a couple of great family events that are worth mentioning as well. Justin Bieber will be on tour with a final date at Allentown Fairgrounds in Allentown, PA on September 4th, 2010. The Jonas Brothers will be another great family concert to catch, which includes artist Demi Lovato. This tour will conclude at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte, NC on October 17th, 2010.
