1. iPhone 4: The Definitive Guide by gizmodo We already showed you the new iPhone from every angle, inside and out. Today, Steve Jobs re-revealed it, telling us about the remaining details. Here's the exhaustive guide to all the features of the new iPhone 4. The hardware design hasn't changed from the one we already knew about. It uses the same materials as the prototype: Black glass and stainless steel rim. It fits with the rest of the Apple product line, from the hard edges to the Dieter-Ramsesque utilitarianism of the iMac and the iPad. The size is smaller than the previous generation: 34% thinner than the iPhone 3GS. Although it is 3 grams heavier. According to Apple, it's the thinnest smartphone ever. It has split buttons for volume, unlike the current iPhone 3GS, all made in stainless steel.

2. iPhone 4 First Take cnet reviews Apple CEO Steve Jobs opened the 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference today by announcing  the latest iPhone incarnation, the iPhone 4. As expected, the latest handset features a high-resolution display, a faster processor, and video calling, but it also sports unexpected additions like a new antenna and a gyroscope. It will be available exclusively with AT&T starting June 24. The price with service is fair--$199 for the 16GB phone or $299 for the 32GB device--and both models come in white and black versions. No, we did not hear a peep about the elusive Verizon iPhone, but we didn't anticipate any news on that front. Even from the outside, you'll see that the iPhone 4 marks the biggest upgrade since the iPhone 3G (the 3GS didn't add much beyond a compass). The profile is thinner and you'll notice a new front-facing camera (more on that later). The iPhone 4 also serves as the debut device for the newly named iOS 4 operating system, which brings such much-needed features as multitasking, a unified e-mail in-box, and app folders for the home screen. On the whole, this iPhone 4 has us more excited than we were last year when the the 3GS was born. The new features, particularly those in the new operating system, are long overdue and we welcome any efforts to improve call quality (remember that it is a phone, after all). There were a few things that we were hoping for that we didn't get--a 64GB model, among them--but we look forward to reviewing this model.

3. Hands on: Apple iPhone 4 review byTechRadar Thinner, sharper, HD video recording - Jobs has unleashed the big guns After the WWDC keynote on June 7, media were invited backstage to get hands on with Apple's new iPhone 4, including access to the upcoming iOS 4 operating system, and a brief demo of the FaceTime  video calling. We left with our credit cards burning rectangular shapes in our wallets, already yearning for its June 24 debut. The iPhone 3GS was only different on the inside compared to its predecessor, but iPhone 4 is a totally new animal. It's just a tiny bit thinner from its left to its right edge, because the flat edges mean effectively less casing around the sides of the screen. It's possible to stand the iPhone on its side, say to shoot a video.

4. Hands on with iPhone 4 by Macworld As Steve Jobs would have it, the iPhone 4 unveiled Monday represents the biggest revision for the iPhone since the device’s original 2007 release. Looking back now, it’s tempting to lump the iPhone 3G and the 3GS  into a single category. It’s not hard to see the latter as an incremental improvement on the former—the two had more in common than not, and the devices were almost exactly the same. From that perspective, then, the iPhone 4 is certainly a radical departure. With its flat, glass back and stainless steel edges, it might remind you more of a Braun appliance than a cell phone. The iPhone 4 is a brand new device from the inside out, and when you get your hands on one, you’ll be able to tell in an instant that this is a different beast from its predecessor. We had the chance to spend a half an hour with the iPhone 4 in its natural habitat: an Apple-designed demonstration center in the Moscone West convention center, right after Steve Jobs’s 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference keynote. So we tried as many of its new features as we could, and got a feel for Apple’s most significant iPhone upgrade yet.

5. Apple iPhone 4: Everything You Need to Know by Digital Trends Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone 4 today, which he claims offers over 100 new features, though he would focus on only a handful for the keynote. The iPhone 4 looks like the iPhone prototype obtained under questionable circumstances by Gizmodo: stainless steel casing, all-glass front, and a design Jobs describes as the thinnest smartphone on the planet: almost 25 percent thinner than the iPhone 3GS.. Unlike previous iPhones, the iPhone 4 will have volume controls on the side of the phone along with an accessible microSIM tray. The iPhone 4 features a front-facing camera, and the back sports a microphone, 30pin connector for docking, and a speaker, while the top sports a second microphone for noise cancellation, sleep/wake button, and a headset input. Jobs went on to highlight the bands around the side of the iPhone 4 that caused much speculation in the wake of the leaked prototypes. Jobs identified them as part of the phone’s antenna system, saying the stainless steel band is also a primarily structural element of the device. The antenna supports all the iPhone 4’s wireless capability, from 3G to Wi-Fi to Bluetooth to GPS along with cellular communications.

6. iPhone 4 review roundup: Apple versus the competition The veil has been lifted. The specs are in. So, should you buy an iPhone 4? Review the many headlines out there and you'll find a whole lot of answers. Since no reviewers have used the new iPhone long enough to write a full report, some of the most interesting articles compare Apple's upcoming smartphone to its many competitors. With the Sprint EVO 4G, Nexus One, Verizon Droid Incredible, and many others vying for shoppers' attention, Apple has a lot riding on this new model. Here's how it stacks up:

8. 10 things to know about iPhone 4 by CNN Apple CEO Steve Jobs says the iPhone 4, which debuted on Monday, is the "biggest leap forward" the iPhone has made since it was introduced in 2007. The newly announced phone has "one of the most beautiful designs you've ever seen," Jobs said at a tech conference in San Francisco. "This is without a doubt the most precise thing and one of the most beautiful things we've ever made." But besides being "beautiful," what actually makes this iPhone different? After attending the unveiling and talking with analysts and bloggers, here's our quick list of 10 things you should know about the iPhone 4, which goes on sale June 24, and costs between $199 and $299. Let us know if you have more questions and feel free to leave thoughts of your own in the comments section at the bottom of this story.

9. Hands On With Apple's New iPhone 4 by PCWorld Apple 32GB iPhone 4 The Apple iPhone 4 is everything that a new piece of technology should be: It's innovative, attractive, and ahead of its competition. In comparison, previous iPhone upgrades seem inconsequential--that's how much iPhone 4 brings to the table. The phone will ship on June 24, priced at $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model (in white or black). I spent some hands-on time with the new handset at the Apple event. I'll start with the visuals: It's stylish. Whereas the iPhone 3GS looks and feels plasticky, the iPhone 4 is svelte and has a premium feel. Surprisingly, it achieves that impression while retaining the same general design, although the edges appear a bit more squared than before. It's noticeably slimmer than the iPhone 3GS, measuring 0.37 inch deep versus the iPhone 3GS's thickness of 0.48 inch (that translates to 24 percent less). The iPhone 4 is also slightly narrower, 2.31 inches to 2.44 inches. The weight stays the same at 4.8 ounces, but the tweaks to the dimensions make the current iPhone 3GS seem downright kludgy in comparison. However, it's the aesthetic design touches that make the iPhone 4 stand out. The overall design screams elegance--from the rounded, individual volume up and down buttons that replace the plastic volume rocker on the iPhone 3GS to the ring/silent switch and the power/sleep button up top. The face and back are made of glass that is specially treated to withstand scratches and oily fingers, according to Apple. The side edging is stainless steel, and doubles as the device's three cellular and wireless antennas.

10. iPhone 4 guide: preview, pricing, availability by Engadget In a lot of ways, Apple's iPhone 4 announcement was short on surprises. We've been playing with the new iPhone OS 4 (now dubbed iOS 4) for a while, and photos of the hardware had been widely disseminated, a rarity for an unreleased Apple product. Still, Apple managed to fill in the gaps and build up the hype, and there's plenty to know about this handset that extends beyond what you can glean from bricked hardware of dubious provenance. Follow along with us as we break it all down, including detailed impressions from our hands-on time with the device. The iPhone 4 marks the most dramatic shift in form factor for the iPhone since the original, but it still looks pretty much exactly like an iPhone. As per usual, it's what's inside the phone that matters most, and Apple has made plenty of changes. For a full spec-by-spec comparison with the previous-generation iPhone 3GS
